Our next event is on Saturday 25th July at 10-12pm. We will meet at Catherine Ford Bridge, Dinton. David, who is leading the event, will take an invertebrate sample from the river which will then be emptied into large trays so that the children and parents can see the life in the river. The sample will include invertebrates which are indicators of water quality and small fish.
The children will then be allowed, under supervision from their parents, to use their own nets in the shallow water to also collect their own samples for investigation. It should be a really interesting morning along the river bank with lots to explore and identify. Contact us if you'd like to come along! Comments are closed.
